The Airline & Travel Marketing (ATM) Privacy Policy explains how we use personal data and ensure compliance with personal data rules (GDPR). We strive to protect the quality and integrity of your personal data in the best possible way and we have implemented security measures to this end.4. What personal data do we collect?

For example, the personal data that we collect may include your name, email address, IP address, bank details or conditions of your booking or invoicing (e.g. date of birth, passport number, nationality, passport Expiry date and where your passport has been issued).

Why do we collect personal data?

The reason we collect your personal information is typically, to be able to;

Protection and storage of personal data

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which your personal data has been collected.

The information will therefore be deleted when, for example, the customer or employment relationship is terminated, taking into account the retention obligations arising from other legislation, such as the Danish Accounting Act.

Unsolicited applications will not be saved unless consent is obtained from the applicant.

Disclosure

Your personal data may be disclosed to the entities and companies of the ATM including its subsidiaries and affiliates (e.g. South African Airways and Cathy Pacific). We may also disclose your personal data to public authorities or others to the extent that this is provided for, by applicable law or we are required to do so by a court of competent jurisdiction.

Your personal data will not without obtaining your consent, be subject to other external disclosure unless provided for by law. We do not use or disclose your personal information for marketing purposes, including sending e-mails with advertising content, unless you have requested and accepted this.

Third-party disclosure

ATM can choose to use data processors, including software providers, website hosting, social and professional media, backup, security and storage. These data processors will be instructed by ATM, to process your personal data on our behalf and we will implement special agreements to do so. Data processors process your personal data only for the specific purposes for which the information has been collected.

We require these data processors to process your personal data confidentially, and to take appropriate technical and organisational security measures to ensure that the information is not accidentally or unlawfully destroyed, lost or impaired; or come to the knowledge of unauthorized persons, is misused or otherwise treated in contravention of the Personal Data Act.

Your personal data may be transferred to other countries outside the EU/EEA, and countries that do not have laws that provide special protection for personal data, but which, by virtue of EU rules, will be obliged to comply with these rules. We will ensure the necessary legal basis for this.

Insight/correction/deletion/Transfer

You always have the opportunity to request for the transfer of, insight into, correction of or deletion of the registered personal data.
